Tulips....my absolute favourite flower.  With a strong green stem and delicate petals, it seems to represent the ideals of the person I wish to be.  Strong foundation, delicate being. It is a spring blossoming flower and my birthday is in the spring.  It is perennial and so am I!

I have some beautiful tulips adorning my home.  They are in beautiful clear vases and look like they are real...but they aren't!  In fact, when I have guests over, they like to remind me to water them or put pennies in their vases to promote them standing straight.  They are shocked when I tell them that they aren't real!
